  • 04/30/1958 – The Nevada Soaring Association incorporates

      Marianne, Edward L. Blalock incorporated Nevada Soaring Association with the state in 1959 (correction 1958 per the state of NV). Initial fleet started with 2 LK-10, surplus WW II training gliders and two Schweizer TG-3 WW II TRAINING GLIDERS. Soon after a 1-26 was added and later another. We flew off “Glider Valley” ( now known as Cold Springs valley), near Border Town. In the early mid-60s a Scheibe Bergfalke II-55 was added And still later an ASK-13.
